1. Understand (Research & discovery)

  • The process starts with an in-depth exploration to fully understand the challenge at hand. Through comprehensive research and analysis, I gather essential insights into user needs, market trends, and business objectives. This phase is critical for identifying opportunities that will form the foundation for impactful and aligned design solutions.

    The primary goal is to gain a thorough understanding of the problem space from both a design and brand perspective, uncovering insights into user behavior, the competitive landscape, and the brand’s core purpose.

    This phase lays the groundwork for both user-centered design and a cohesive brand identity, ensuring that the project moves forward with clarity and purpose.

    2. Problem definition: Clearly define the design and business challenges, ensuring a focused approach to problem-solving.

    4. User personas and journey maps: Develop personas and journey maps to visualize key user needs, behaviors, and pain points, ensuring user-centered solutions.

2. Explore (Ideation & strategy)

  • In this phase, the focus is on exploring potential solutions by generating ideas and concepts through divergent thinking. This involves brainstorming, concept development, moodboarding, prototyping, and testing to identify what resonates most with users and the brand. Each option is carefully evaluated based on feasibility, user experience, brand alignment, and business objectives, ensuring that only the strongest ideas advance.

    The aim is to develop initial strategies for both the user experience and the brand identity, exploring multiple possibilities before converging on the most effective direction.

3. Development (Refine & roll out solutions)

I work to develop and refine the chosen designs, ensuring they are fully aligned with both the strategic objectives and user needs. Once finalized, the solutions are rolled out, creating tangible impact and driving business results.
